Adexa Boosts Sales in Asia Through Major Agreement with CDC
News Release: Adexa, Inc., a global supply chain planning company, and CDC Global Services Corporation, a wholly owned business unit of CDC Corporation (NASDAQ: CHINA) and a world-wide provider of IT and IT-enabled services, announced today a reseller agreement between the two companies, covering Greater China. Under the terms of this agreement CDC gains the rights to sell and support Adexa solutions in the region.
Both companies expect to see growth opportunities by capitalizing on Adexa’s long-term and successful presence in Asia, as well as its blue-chip customer base in its major markets, including Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. CDC believes Adexa’s supply chain planning solutions are highly complementary to its many and already well established product lines in the enterprise technology markets.
“This was a match made in heaven,” said Cyrus Hadavi, CEO of Adexa. “CDC has an extensive customer base, and tremendous distribution power in Asia. We look forward to further accelerating Adexa’s market-share with them, in one of the largest industrial and technology markets in the world.”
Effective immediately, CDC is to work closely with Adexa's Asian operations to sell its products, and provide complimentary support services; including consulting, training, and other value-added services.
“We want to drive a lot more value to our customers by providing a joint solution that covers the entire supply chain planning and execution business cycle in one integrated environment,” said CK Wong, CEO of CDC Global Services. “Beyond highly proven solutions, we see Adexa’s great brand as a winning combination with our capabilities in distributing the solutions and the services that address the business requirements of our clients.”
